18 months

Brinlee went for her 18 month well check last week.

I wish I could tell you she's growing like a weed...but she's not. They say not to worry, though..she's just going to be a tiny little thing. She is in the 3% for her size. She's little, but completely healthy and perfect. She put on a little show in the office for Dr. Etoch. She was a handful in there, but I had to laugh. She has the BIGGEST personality. She is fiesty, determined and melts my heart into a million pieces, not a good combo :-) She told me to "be nice" because I took something from her. She has also been saying "no" a lot. She likes to dance, make silly faces, and make her bubba laugh. She also likes to spin round and round in circles. She has been giving the sweetest little hugs lately. She will NOT sit in a high chair and hates to shop. She loves to play outside and swing. She loves her bows and shoes. In fact, before we leave the house she'll wonder around looking for her "baa" (bow). She does more and more each day. I love her so much and have the best time with her.

So Very Thankful

So, I'm a little late with my Thanksgiving post, oh well...you know me, that's how I roll...he! he!

this is as good as it gets with the 4 of us ;-)
I feel so incredibly lucky and blessed. I have so much to be thankful for, I don't even know where to start. I have the most amazing and understanding husband ever. He is my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without him. I have two HEALTHY children that makes my world go 'round...they are my everything! My family is my rock and they are always there for me. I have my health, a warm home, plenty of food to eat and lots of love!! What more could I ask for? Thank you, Jesus for this life you have given to me!!

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalms 107:1

We had the best Thanksgiving yet....laid back and relaxing. It was the first year since Frank and I have been together that we didn't have 3 different places to run off to. Wednesday we had TGiving Dinner with his mom and his brother's family. We also did Christmas with them since we wouldn't be seeing them again for Christmas.

On Thursday, we went to my mom's for dinner. It was nice to be able to take our time and actually visit at both dinners. Frank and I actually snuck off Thursday evening to do a little shopping while the kids stayed with my mom. Then, later that night, the girls in the family had more shopping plans. We thought it'd be a good idea to go shopping that night at midnight!! HA! We left the kids with Ge Ge to have a sleep over and we (me, Tiff and Sharon) went out for a very short shopping trip. We got intimidated by the crazy crowds so went back back to moms for a sleep over. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Tiff and I stayed up for hours telling stories, laughing and scaring each other. Brinlee had her 1st sleepover and night away from Mommy....little did she know I was in the room next to her. I still count it as a sleep over, though :-) Tiff and I got up bright and early and finally accomplished some shopping.

And I am super thankful for these two!

the little girls (Suzi, Haven and Brinlee) were in matching dresses, but of course we didn't get a picture of all 3!

my girl loves to pose

and my boy loves to eat...

We didn't realize it until the next morning, but apparently Santa or one of his elves dropped off a little package for the kids that night! It was wrapped lying on the front porch!!! A new addition ot our family....MAX, The Elf on the Shelf!

Game Day

Saturday started out with our usual Saturday morning soccer game.

It was a good game and the team we played gave us some good competition! This was the "official" last game. Next week we'll have the jamboree finale with trophies and a few short games back to back. We love our little team and our coach is the best!

We had a little team party afterwards at the park with pizza and cupcakes.

We LOVE the new park (Doty Park).

Then, it was on to another game....GAMECOCKS and GATORS!

Gooooooooo COCKS!!!

Ge Ge and Pa Pa had a little get together for the big game.

Unfortunately, we do have Gator fans in our family.

Poor little Haven, she doesn't know better.

But Tiffany does!!!

The rest of us are GAMECOCK fans....
so we had fun picking on those Peckham's!

Pa Pa and his cheerleaders!
We may not have won, but it was a GOOD game, and pretty close for most of the game!

Halloween

My two sweet hearts look adorable for Halloween...

Cowgirl Princess

Dale Earnhart Jr.

This family LOVES Halloween. We have a tradition of cooking chili for the family and trick or treating. I love that all the cousins are so close in age. They are going to have so much fun growing up together and making memories together. Brinlee really "got it" this year. She knew she was getting candy, and as scary as she is, she didn't get scared once! She only walked to the first couple houses, then opted for the wagon ride.

Brayton went as Dale Earnhardt Jr...his new hero and obsession. He wanted to ride his bike, but after he kept throwing it down we made him put it up....I was afraid someone would trip over it! It was hard to walk with Brinlee and the "babies" and keep up with him. He wanted to be with his friends, and they were RUNNING from house to house. So...I am sad to say, he left us! Frank went with Brayton and his friends while I stayed behind with the gang.

Look how cute! Triplets as the "Little Einsteins".

After Trick or Treating we came back home for some partying! We bobbed for apples and jammed out to "Monster Mash". We had a great time and the kids were exhausted!!

And we still have waaaaaay too much candy in this house!

Oh, and did I mention we didn't want that Michael Jackson costume to go to waste??
HA! HA! I think Brayton made a better MJ. Someone told Frank he looked more like one of the 3 Stoogies! HA! HA!

Who's BAD?!

Oh yes, he did!

He did go bustin' in to Knightsville Elementary School just like this!!

As I mentioned before, it was Red Ribbon spirit week at school last week. Thursday was "A Drug Free Life Rocks". Dress as your favorite rock star. I bought the whole MJ kit thinking that he would only want the glove. Boy was I wrong! My son is just like his momma...it's all or nothing with him :-)!! I have to admit, Frank and I were both a little nervous about him getting picked on....but he was excited and ready to strut his stuff!!!! Come to find out, he was the hit of the school. He said his teacher took him for a walk to show him to everyone...wish I could have been a fly on the wall, ha! ha! I can only imagine him 10 years from now in high school!! That child is a character, and I love every ounce of him :-)

Cousin Kylee chose to dress as Taylor Swift. She was too cute about it. She said she only had to wake up and get dressed because she already had the same kind of hair as Taylor. :-) When we picked them up after school I couldn't help but crack up. There was Brayton standing decked out in Michael Jackson and Kylee looked sooooooo embarrassed standing next to him. She is so serious, it's funny!

And while Brayton was having his MJ debut, Brinlee and I had some fun ourselves! Aunt Tiff had a Halloween party for all her munchkins, so we went over to crash the party! She hid candy like an egg hunt and the kids loved it! We're so happy she stays home now, we have lots of fun doing things with the kids!

My little cowgirl. She is missing her bandana and would NOT
keep that hat on....still adorable, though!

Little Bunny Fu Fu...isn't this the CUTEST?!?
Cousin Haven

I can't believe and I didn't get a single picture of me and Brinlee together. I was too worried about getting a good one of her...that always happens! Oh well, I was dressed as a witch...I'll get around to posting pictures from Halloween night soon!
